With a re-engineered chassis and suspension, the all-new Kia Sorento offers greater cabin space, refinement, and enhanced technology. The steel monocoque frame has been completely reworked, with a new floor, undercrash, and front crash structure, and a more solid subframe in the rear. In all, the new Sorento’s chassis offers 18% more torsional rigidity, which has a pronounced impact on refinement and safety. To increase protection still further, standard safety features include six airbags as well as a variety of stability enhanced measures.
In addition to providing a smoother ride, alterations to the rear multi-link suspension increase space in the rear of the cabin.
This results in increased legroom for passengers in the second and third rows, as well as extending luggage capacity to 660 litres in five-seat mode.
The new Kia Sorento comes with an impressive amount of technology to enhance comfort and convenience. Equipment standard on all models includes Bluetooth® connectivity, rear parking sensors, and dual-zone climate control.
All these improvements and more make the all-new and improved Kia Sorento one of the most eagerly awaited compact SUVs of 2013. Contact Flear & Thomson today for further details.
